Token risk checks on Solana

4,775 tokens checked on Solana, of which 1 have a property that blocks a buyer. On Solana the checks centre on the authorities attached to the mint: who can create more supply, who can freeze your account, who can rewrite the name.

What can go wrong with a Solana token

A Solana token is a mint with authorities attached to it, and the risk lives in those authorities rather than in a block of custom code. Whoever holds the mint authority can create more supply at any time, diluting everyone who already holds it. Whoever holds the freeze authority can freeze your token account, which means the balance stays visible in your wallet and cannot be sent anywhere — including to a buyer.

Two more are specific to this chain. The update authority can rewrite a token's name, symbol and image after launch, which is how a token becomes an imitation of something reputable once people hold it. And because liquidity pools here are usually created by the launcher, whether the pool tokens were burned is often the only thing standing between a working market and a withdrawn pool.

The checks read all of those from the mint account itself, alongside the market data for the deepest pool. What they cannot see is intent: a project can hold every authority for entirely ordinary reasons, and a project can hold none and still be abandoned next week.

Every finding on this page comes from automated checks of public data, described on the methodology page. They are not an audit and not an accusation against anyone. All 44 checks are explained one by one.
